this was a completely surprise. a bit down the street from the main church on the main drag (GTO 46) is a little restaurant called Mineros. truly excellent food, great service, good prices, and for being in the middle of nothing was actually very...upscale. i had very low expectations, but i left thinking it was the greatest food on earth (it was probably just really, really good but surprises are always welcome). It is a small place with only 3 or 4 tables, the menu is small, but the eating is delicious and fresh and the service is very good.
If you are looking for a beautiful spot to get a fast Mexican bite, this is all. very nice cooking, beautiful place and good service. it may seem too small, but may not be deceived. I ordered tortilla suppe and enchiladas and they were delicious. I'm going back to the final!
Directly on the road in pozos, small, clean and very nice furnishings. great place to lunch, varied menu, licensed and excellent service.
My friend and I found a new place to eat in pozos, which was a real pleasure. not only eating well, but the waitress a joy. mercedes and her sister lupita run the restaurant with a friendly setting that makes a feeling as if they had simply made a friend for living. the restaurant is very clean and simply furnished. eating was delicious and very good portions. I had a red sauce and my friends had chickeneralambres. both meal times were of great portions and favorable. mercedes has checked several times to make sure we were satisfied. the only negatiw was that it was right on the main road that made it a little loud.
