Contribute FeedbackIn the heart of Leicester, the restaurant at the Marriott offers a stunning atmosphere, featuring beautiful decor and a welcoming staff. However, diners have reported inconsistencies in their culinary experiences. While some dishes, like the tandoori chicken burger, received praise for their flavors, others, such as the cold ravioli and dry sandwiches, fell short. Service varied, with slow response times and oversight in orders being common issues, particularly during busy evenings. Despite the challenges, the staff's friendliness and attentiveness shone through, making it a place with potential for improvement amidst an enjoyable dining environment.
Perfect location for a breakfast meeting, good menu too
I enjoyed my recent meal at the restaurant more than my previous visit. My dish was cooked perfectly and I want to thank Lauren, the restaurant manager, for her attentive service.
The portions were huge and the food was served promptly. Three members of our group had to take their leftovers home.
Although the booking was done in advance, the resturant refused to acknowledge the booking and instead offered the table in the dining area. Whilst we had done a booking for the bar area as we were there for drinks and nibble) I had to then find a table by myself and it turned out to be quite an embarrassing situation for my colleagues, who were initially informed that we have a confirmed booking.
Shocking food Will not be going back. Old ingredients, cold and no substance. NOT value for money at all. So many better places to eat in CW
