I met friends I haven't seen for years, so I decided to take them to my favorite place in wetherby. we were not disappointed. the staff here is so friendly and helpful. we took the recommendation from a colleague diner to try bbq bark sandwich from the list of specials this day. what a tasty! absolutely delicious. I had been in for a coffee and my partner a pint on a flying visit as live in Northumberland On 7/11/23 on a short break l came back with friends. On arriving only 2 tables available, we sat at a vacant table that hadn 't been cleared, the previous customers had just left. No sign to say wait to be seated! Ossit blonde beer nice, but at £4.20 is a pint too expensive.
Food absolutely delicious. Dog friendly and disabled friendly. Staff was lovely and helpful. Well worth a visit. I
Large, clean, spacious pub with prompt service. Not much choice for vegetarians on the menu and no vegetarian option at all on the Sunday menu. Handpulled cask beers were Timothy Taylor's Golden Best, Theakston Best Bitter and Ossett Brewery's Yorkshire Blonde. Theakstons was a good drop, they look after their beer here.
Lovely Steak and Ale pie enjoyed by us all, with very friendly bar maid/landlady
I initially gave this 3 stars a few years ago but we went back for Sunday lunch and it was great. 5 star. We will definitely return.
