For dessert, we got the chocolate mousse trio, which was yummy. The restaurant is small, so be sure to book. A bit on the expensive side. If you want fondue, you have to order it ahead of time. Service is on the slow side, so expect a long dinner.
We visited this restaurant twice during our skiing holiday, once for lunch while skiing through Zug and couple of days later for a fondue dinner. Both visits were enjoyable. Meals were so filling that we could not even try their strudels, which looked amazing. Yet another reason to visit this place again. Please not the if skiing there is a small climb from the ski lift. We left our skis in the racks at the lift. You can also carry your skis up and place them in racks provided in front of the restaurant.
We had dinner there recently and can't speak highly enough of it. Everyone was happy The Kaiserschmarrn was just delightful. Excellent service. Price 27 euro average per main meal, normal for Lech Zug). Will go again if I ever make it back there.
We have been skiing in this area every year since 2008 and one of our highlights is always walking or skiing to Zug and enjoying lunch at the Alpenblick. The restaurant is very welcoming, gives a lovely Alpine glow and is really nicely designed and decorated. The food is consistently outstanding. This year, we had wonderful, calves liver, scampi, zwiebelrostbraten (beef and onions) in the past we have had good goulash, kasespaetzle (Mac and cheese), Wiener schnitzel, we have never been disappointed. Then to top it all off we finish with strudel, either apple strudel or topfenstrudel with vanilla sauce and whipped cream. This place is a delight.
Lovely food snd service. Very convenient for chalet despite snow.
