What Al doesn't like about Dairy Queen:
I was very disappointed and feel like I wasted gas. I wanted to grab some ice cream before they closed, so I drove there and arrived by 10 PM, knowing the drive-thru was supposed to be open until 10:30 PM. However, I was told they were already closed, even though their website states they stay open until 10:30 PM. This is very misleading. I'm frustrated, especially since gas prices are $4 a gallon. I go to the mckendree university and their 50% discount on Monday can be very helpful. their workers always have a positive attitude, no matter how busy they are! They always have good food and ice cream!
The attitude of staff members is really great here! They are just as polite as Chick-fil-A team members, possibly even more so. The food and treats are excellent and getting better, and the prices are decent too. Speed of service in the drive-thru is excellent, and lines are not usually very long.
Came here after softball (lesbian league) and pounded 3 cookie dough blizzards... very nice spot and even better town. Need some tv's up inside so I can watch judge Judy tho
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food comes up quick and really never any problems with order correctness. They also have Ski on their soda fountain. Love that they support local organizations with Fundraiser nights and also 1/2 price treat weekends. Hours are also very convenient.
I placed a large complicated order for a group of students. Without a hint of annoyance, the server (Adeja) and manager helped prepare my order, individually labeled each item, found a large box to help me transport it. They went out of their way to be friendly and efficient an exemplary model of customer service. I'm impressed and grateful.
