What User doesn't like about Pig Finch Gastropub:
The restaurant has slid down that slippery slope of trying too hard to improve. The menu is thinned out so much. They used to have a wonderful list of appys to make a dinner on but now just a couple on the list. Wine and drinks are where they make their money. It's just nowhere near what it used to be. My new FAVORITE restaurant in Kansas City! The scallops had to die. Everyone loved their food! The atmosphere was rich and our waitress Tia was absolutely sweet and up!
Pig and Finch show that they can create and serve a beautiful dish of food. More and more impressed the whole time. Go there.
We had the brunch last weekend. My wife had lemon pancakes with blueberries and I had the pub breakfast, bacon, eggs, sausage, toast and potatoes. Both were excellent. Our waitress was great.
Shrimp appetizer with the most wonderful sauce paired well with prosecco. Iron skillet trout was to die for and cooked just right. Paired with Bread and Butter chard very well.
I had the P F burger, cooked medium. Wow! I can hardly ever get a perfect medium on a burger. I paired it with Left Hands nitro stout. After a long drive, I was more than content. Side note, very knowledgeable staff. Kudos!
