Ludwig's - Leavenworth

On recommendation we came.. Started the meal with the large pulp w/beer cheese sauce. It didn't take long. It was delicious. Even if there were 3 of us, we ordered the family meal for 4 because we could not open our thoughts. Had many leftovers to take home, but if we didn't feel like we had eaten more in a food coma Sooo good.

Such a wonderful meal. Pleasure and friendly service, reasonable prices (all things considered), and I did not want to stop eating. Our family of 4 loved it.

The best meal we had in this city over the last 3 days. We separated the family plate and my daughter got the chicken carving. It was all wonderful. The cloves in the red herb were perfect. We're bringing a ton of left overs home. Too full to try Dessert.

Unpredictable, but authentic with really good beer and food. My friend had slept pork for the first time and in late zle to try it. She enjoyed her dinner with a double beer. I had pigshaxes and pilgrims. Friendly service.

Still a nice place to eat. Was better 5 years ago. Got new management and the quality went down some and they redid the menu. They took some stuff away, and their beer selection diminished. Still a nice place to eat. Lost some of it's fun when the waitstaff lost their tradition outfit and now are just allowed to wear Jean and T shirt. Still an amazing place to eat. A friend grew up in Germany and says its the closes she has come to authentic German food since come to Washington.
