Disappointed. Rump steak medium rare was so tough my knife couldn’t cut it. First time I have ever not eaten all my steak in a restaurant. Other than that the setting is wonderful and the staff very pleasant but not client aware. View all feedback.
Beuvron-en-Auge est à quelques minutes de l'autoroute A13. Le café Forges est un lieu très sympatique et typique. La cuisson se fait devant vous, à la cheminée. L'équipe est adorable et efficace. La cuisine est de qualité sans être compliquée. Ne ratez surtout le dessert aux pommes et cidre, un délice !

Visiting this very beautiful typical Norman village, we ate in this excellent establishment .a very good time of conviviality and humour spent with the boss of Czech origin . the meats cooked with wood fire were top!!! a big thank you .

We were made very welcome and the atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. I would strongly recommend a visit.
