Cafe de La Poste - Le Dorat

Quite a busy place next to a restaurant, it is a bar and a tabac, so they can buy a magazine and have a beer between the meals! and a very pleasant terrace outside. we have come a little late for lunch, so we have no more than just a sandwich to try, so they're safe from the kitchen. a copy of the local English speaking time the bugle was available (free) and there was a series of anglophones there when we stopped by. the city houses the world championship Sheep-shearing competition beginning juli and expects about 50000 visitors, so if they will be there at this time, they make sure they can sit it lunch and dinner on time! and if the caffe can no longer bring tables to the terrace, it is unlikely that large groups can sit if they are not exceptionally early.

Very pleasant kir sitting outside in the late afternoon sunshine. friendly staff who didn't ask for payment until we were ready to go. would be nice to offer a court, if nuts or olives for an additional fee?

Sitting on the square and watching the world. this is a very friendly little bar and we were made to feel very welcome. on Friday night there was a live band and bbq that was great. children also sit outside with families and dogs!

In the heart of Le dorat , great place to sit , and watch the people of Le dorat go about there daily business, food is served on certain days , Friday is fish and chip Friday also pizza van turned up on Friday...as well , very friendly staff ,
