Pura Vida Sushi & roots bar

Believe it or not, pretty good sushi. They were out of salmon and beef so it limited our options. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. My meal, pictured, was great. Those who got sushi rolls were very pleased

This was our first stop once on the island. The service was sooo slow... We quickly figured out that its just they way with ALL the restaurants.. So, knowing this, it was fabulous. Beer was 45MP, fish and chips 160MP, beef fried rice 160MP, holboxito roll 120MP. The fish on the fish and chips was so fresh! everything was great

The other night stops for a drink and appy and enjoy the band. Order a beer. In a solo cup a little under room temperatre. I had a strange pain in my leg. There was a piece of metal on the chair that literally cut a big hole in my fav shorts and cut the back of my leg. The staff called. Wasn't interested in my bleeding leg or ripened shorts at all. They knocked down the metal piece and left quickly. I never came to the table again. Like anything. No more to eat, ruin my shorts and wait to pay the bill for an Awedul beer for almost 30 minutes before we finally wave someone down. Brutal. There are much better places to try in Holbox. Promise.

We visited here last week and stopped for lunch with our tour guide. My partner had the burger and I had the chicken kebabs and the tour guide had the sushi roll, my partner said his burger was spot on, my chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious, and the guide enjoyed his sushi roll, before placing our order the chef pre warned us the chicken kebab would take 30- 40 mins which wasnt a problem, when you are on such a beautiful tropical island, why rush. The food was worth the wait, also try the fresh lemonade and lime, so tasty and refreshing in that heat. The customer service was also very good the chef/ server was great. If you are visiting Holbox this place is worth checking out

El peor "restaurante" donde he comido, baños sin agua en los inodoros y sin jabón para lavarse las manos, esperamos 45 minutos para recibir el primer platillo (tiempo exagerado teniendo en cuenta que solo tenía una mesa adicional a la nuestra), el sabor de los platillos fue pésimo ("la peor hamburguesa de pollo que hemos probado"), a todo lo anterior se debe agregar que el mesero es un tipo grosero y sin actitud de servicio, cuando le indicamos que íbamos a cancelar los platillos por la tardanza nos grito que no se podía hacer eso. EL PEOR RESTAURANTE DE HOLBOX
