La Isla del Colibri - Lazaro Cardenas

We visited this cafe twice for breakfast and enjoyed our meals on both occasions. We tried omelettes and baguettes with ham and beans, and both were delicious. The juices and smoothies are incredible (I would really recommend the Islander smoothie). They add a service charge on before you receive the bill, so keep that in mind if budgeting. Friendly service and good food - worth a visit!!

My daughter and I went for breakfast and found hot cakes and really good coffee! This cafe has a friendly, relaxed vibe and beautiful artwork all around.

This colorful restaurant is located right at the corner on the plaza. The decoration is nice with some painting. The waiter is very friendly. We had some cerviche , shrimp and fish fillets. All very simple, nothing fancy but really tasty.

The place looks very interesting but the food is nothing out of the ordinary. Service is average to slow. Menu includes soups, cocktails, tacos, Natural juices. Prices are average, mid- range. The place is located across the plaza by the presidencia municipal.

This was my third day on the island and my best meal so far. The fried calamari appetizer was amazing. I had the ribeye steak that was cooked to perfection and came with fresh grilled veggies and rice. I couldn't get enough! Pancho was a great host and a good time was had by all. Definitely worth a visit!
