Beautiful venue. The food wasn't spectacular but the serving was decent size. To elaborate, the meal was a good size and well presented, But I felt that my dish lacked flavour. The menu was extensive and varied and I'm sure that something on the menu would give me a completely different reaction. The wine list was extensive as well. I had the Creme Brûlée for dessert. My partner and I were having a lovely time in Tasmania until the evening of 9th of Jan. We made a reservation through Dimmi for dinner at 8.30pm at Novaro's Italian restaurant,28 Brisbane st, Launceston after looking at the restaurant ratings. We received an email confirming the booking. We went to Novaro's at 8.20pm only to know that there is no table available even after 9.15pm. The restaurant owner was not concerned about Dimmi booking as she quoted that she was not on real time reservation and only asked us to go elsewhere even though she had a table for 2 vacant in the corner of her restaurant.She did not make any effort to check her computer whether there has been any dimmi...read more
Beautiful food and amazing wine list (20 pages to choose from). It was a busy Saturday night with multiple seatings but the service was wonderful throughout. Will come back
Wonderful staff and great seafood. pasta was great and there was a beautiful, dry and cheap bottle of Italian prosecco on the menu. her olive oil is something to write at home about full-bodied and rich in taste. the pippies in the pescatore captivating stone were tender and the mushles were huiige and sooo gooood lookin. that is a besfeld cover for the stupidies. inexpensive, but that is what amazing eating and service cost so. w happy and in a eating coma now. sweets
As newcomers in the city this will certainly be on the restaurant turn. excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, wein recommendations perfect. rindmeat wange the highlight, scallops beautiful, although I would not say exceptional, ente pasta very good. unfortunately no place for sweets, so we have to come back soon!
Amazing small Italian restaurant with the most beautiful personal. service was impeccable! we had the scallops as entree that were divine, the seafood was absolutely delicious! unfortunately I left my scary only vacation in tasmania the personal at nowaro contacted me offered to post it back to my address in melbourne! for me this goes beyond that, I cannot thank nowaro enough. would definitely recommend this amazing restaurant :)
