Unfortunately, the famous historic Pizzeria Restaurant of Monte San Biagio has been closed with much regret and regret. Too bad it was very good pizza, the best I've ever eaten, especially the Ammazzatora pizza, super pizza!! We went there every year in the summer and now it was an obligatory stop...The new management left the same name (very incorrectly) Unfortunately it no longer exists! RECENT REVIEWS ARE FROM THE... What Giorgio Anastasio doesn't like about L'ammazzatora:
Nice and quiet place, with free parking nearby. The tables outside offer a relaxing view of the countryside and Fondi. The dishes are of Roman origin but rightly adapted to typical local products, Monte San Biagio sausage above all. Friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonable prices. The set menu is excellent and inexpensive. Being a little isolated is a merit that should not be underestimated. View all feedback.
Not exciting food... there were two of us, we took a starter on a platter, 2 second courses and 1 side dish, 1/2 wine and 1 liter of water, we spent €50 too much for the quality of what we ate... the owner's service was terrible , too much chatter and we waited a long time to receive the bill. People at nearby tables still waiting for their second course at 11... Service too slow. We definitely won't be back!
With this review of mine I communicate to all those who in the last, I think, twenty years, went every year with trepidation waiting to be able to taste a killer pizza or a stuffed focaccia, unfortunately this tasty and long-awaited trip to Monte S. Biagio it can no longer be done... The All 'ammazzatora pizzeria has closed!!!!!! What a disappointment and what a regret.
Typical local pizza restaurant. Inside old tuff walls in a beautiful rock enriched pese. Panoramic view of the Agropontino. Excellent local meats and pastas. The pizzas are noteworthy. Tall and fragrant, almost like focaccias stuffed with excellent ingredients. Local wines and beers to accompany the dishes. Friendly staff. Informal and jovial location.
We went there for lunch food was great and tasty absolutely charming place .service was good staff are friendly.
