This restaurant offers fresh seafood at reasonable prices. It's not an all-you-can-eat spot, but people come here for the quality rather than the quantity! The ultimate chirashi bowl is definitely worth every penny, and don’t miss the daily specials on the table. It’s a fantastic place on the southwest side for those craving delicious Japanese cuisine. What User doesn't like about Takumi Izakaya:
This is a lovely venue for à la carte dining, but the omakase experience fell short of expectations. At $100 per person, I was disappointed to find many dishes that seemed more like filler at under $10 each. For two people, we received a plate featuring some premium fish: 2 pieces of toro, 4 yellowfin, and 2 pieces of uni (which I forgot to photograph). Unfortunately, the rest of the offerings were mainly just the us... View all feedback.
Eating was good mood was good service was good, but nothing special. that doesn't make me unforgettable.
No bueno. No fresca pescado. No mas. Did not taste fresh to my taste bud. Like yellowtail had to fishy of a taste
We were looking for a izakaya place in the southwest and happened to see Takumi. The people were very friendly and gave you the comfort of home service. We ordered quite a few dishes and my favorites were the skewers, karaage, unagi Don, shrimp rolls and the yellowtail carpaccio. Surprisingly the price is very affordable compared to other izakaya places we've been to in Vegas. Some suggestions would be to increase some selections to the skewers, those are always my favorite! Haha
Everything here tasted good. The owner/head chef is SUPER nice and friendly. Can't imagine I'm a regular at this place now. Don't see myself wanting to come anywhere else for sushi and tempura. The tempura is Japanese authentic. Just sooo good.
Many of the old photos might be from the previous restaurant at the same place. This is an average restaurant that's simple, local, affordable and enough to fill a hungry tummy. But nothing more.
