Wife and I have our regular haunts and were looking for something new. We found Cheers through a Google search. The reason we chose Cheers is because the positive Yelp reviews were encouraging and several of the negative reviews were so ridiculous that we *had* to see what was really going on. Our instincts were correct: Food was great (nachos were awesome), beer was cold, service was reasonably timed and our server/... View all feedback.
What B Hall doesn't like about Cheers Lapeer:
Understaffed, last few times I've been there the service was slow. I don't mind waiting a few minutes here and there, but 30+ minutes to get a drink order in. No thanks. View all feedback.
Cheers has got to be the most happening joint in Lapeer. As I have said before, it's the people who make the bar, and this place has a very friendly vibe. This is the first place that I've seen Giant Jenga being played in a bar, and it drew in nearly everyone, creating a level of excitement all its own. I hear that sometimes there is a live band, and there are also nights for karaoke. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, and it was delicious and satisfying. If you like bacon, which who doesn't, this Quesadilla has it, and it added a wonderful flavor. The Tequila Sunrise was spot on, and they don't skimp on the portion. This is the spot for a great time in Lapeer, and I highly recommend this if you're looking for a great night out, whatever your legal age. I saw people here, young and older, all having a blast.

Our instincts were correct: Food was great (nachos were awesome), beer was cold, service was reasonably timed and our server/bartender was friendly and conversational. It's a small-town bar with great food and lots of screens.
Reminds me of a 70's bar. Loved it! Loud and short-staffed that night though. Great entertainment by Professor Wright and Friends band!
Came in from out of town on work and chose here. Best decision of the day, it was amazing food truly and the bartender girl was very nice.
Food was amazing I would drive back up just for the wings.
