Carriage House - Lancefield

Too expensive for what you have. to start, package butter and broth rolls, which also saw be out of a package. the restaurant is dressed to be fine eating, but many small things stated differently. for example clinical lighting, spin weaving and insects on the dach, selling international wein, if they are a weing ourselves, is really strange (I always want local wee when I go to the country). somehow reminded us of a place for gorden ramsey kitchen night rooms. everything would have been good if not at the price. eating was actually at least nice, especially the lambskin. the service was extremely slow, but I hope that this meant that everything was cooked by itself, not packages. after that we didn't want to taste the weeping. we were in some really fantastic wineries in the region, so it is strange to not invest in their wee (i.e. re-sell international wee in their restaurant is super strange). this winery is not Australian owned that we have discovered, so I recommend going somewhere. support small shops.

Outstanding fine dining experience at an exceptional price!

Fantastic food and great service. The staff were all friendly and the food was great. We were there on a training course and were provided a wide range of options which were all really tasty. Thanks!

Pleasant friendly staff. The pizza was lovely. A nice crunchy thin crust delicious indian style toppings. We were very impressed. And the warm olives.... it converted my husband who never usually enjoys them! The pear rocket salad was huge! Their Cleveland wines were also quite nice had a good variety.

Please note this is a biased review corporate sponsored our stay here at the cleveland winery so we didn't have the opportunity to look at the prices of the food during our stay However, despite the lack of information on the price, the food was amazing. Over the course of 2 days, we were able to sample carriage house's lunch and dinner selection. Everything was more on the salty end which suited my palate perfectly. In ever the rare opportunity for me to go back to lancefield, I'd definitely consider stopping over at carriage house The views are amazing and with the option to eat outside, you can take advantage of the sun if the weather suits.
