I was drawn to the restaurant by the charming decor of the tavern. Overall, the service was good, but the food was lacking. Two suggestions for improvement: 1. The wait time was longer than anticipated. 2. It would be helpful if they served the full kitchen menu all day (having separate menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was inconvenient for me when I visited in the afternoon and couldn't order French toast for a... What Mikala Turner doesn't like about Huckleberry's Tavern:
I visited this restaurant in the late evening on a summer weekday. The hostess informed me that they do not seat solo diners in the restaurant, so I had to eat at the bar. The server was friendly but complained about other customers. There was no music playing, but someone in the kitchen was playing music on their phone speaker. I ordered their signature dish, but my order still got mixed up. I would recommend skippi... View all feedback.
We had dinner in the Tavern this evening. Dustin made sure we got our order just how we wanted. He was very helpful to secure us a reservation in the restaurant in the restaurant for tomorrow morning with time to make our show. And the food was delicious (our thanks to the chef)!
Food and service were normal. The breakfast dishes are the square type, the breakfast meat is good, orange juice with some pulp. That would be a three-star place easy. But... if you ever want to return to what it feels like to have food in a chic 80s restaurant, come here. It's fabulously cheesy. All who came after us had reservations. It also looks like they show voices or something at night?
NOW! The breakfast food here was very good and plentiful!! The potatoes needed NO SEASONING. Nice and crisp, eggs cooked beautiful and fluffy and the baco. Was actually cooked all the way and crispy and toast already came baked!! Service was with a smile and care. If you are in Lancaster for breakfast this is a good choice.
We ordered takeout food from this restaurant to enjoy in our room. The food was prepared quickly and everything was delicious! I highly recommend getting breakfast from here, especially if you are staying at the Steamboat.
The restaurant can be very loud due to the live piano singer, making it difficult to have a conversation. It is situated inside the Steamboat Hotel. We came here to dine with my parents and found the food to be good. The bread pudding is particularly large and enough to share among four people. It's best not to order two unless you want leftovers. The restaurant was kid-friendly, with well-behaved children enjoying the live music. The Huckleberry Inn is wheelchair accessible as it is located on a flat surface in the Steamboat Hotel. The service was satisfactory for dining in.
