Nestled in Lanark village, this rustic spot delivers hearty comfort food—memorable breakfasts, generous portions and a standout meat sauce—served by friendly, attentive staff in a cozy, inviting space. Quality and service can be uneven: expect occasional long waits, missing or incorrect items, and rare instances of skimpy or cold dishes. Takeout and both cash and card payments are available, but hours vary, so call ahead. Overall a charming local find with big portions and a few consistency issues to keep in mind.

What Anonym dislikes about Pc:
The food was just okay, but it took a long time to arrive. The Ruben sandwich came with cheddar cheese instead of Swiss, as stated on the menu. I ordered two appetizers—wings and shrimp—but only the wings were served, likely because the waitress forgot the shrimp. On the bright side, the restaurant wasn't very crowded. View all feedback.

I've heard that the establishment is under new ownership and I'm, not sure what the service or quality of food was before, but they were great this weekend! I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing what ever you fancy. The menu is a little on the big side so you may need a couple of minutes to read. We came in almost at lunch and were able to have breakfast with ALL the meat; peal meal bacon, sausage and ham with great grilled (not deep-fried) home fries. And that came with 3 eggs and toast! The village of Lanark may not be as quaint as the many other villages and towns you find in the Ottawa Valley but this little restaurant sure does make up for that. Wonderful inviting and attentive staff, the coffee just kept coming. Even though they were winding down to close just after lunch they allowed us to take our time, a real pleasure. Cash and Cards are welcome. If you are set on making it here for a stop on a trip through the valley you may want to call ahead to see if they are open. With the current times we are in they are closing for a while between lunch and the evening/dinner time. I just don't want you to be disappointed if you were set on making it here. As we left someone showed up even for a take out order, and they had to be turned away since the kitchen was closed and dark at that time. Google opening times I have found are very hit-and-miss with many establishments, not only this one.
Illegally against hipa laws and Ontario privacy act asks for medical info and personal info name address phone number drivers licence in order to get takeout. Hipa is the rights and protection of personal health info unless by a health institution and privacy act states by LAW the info must be proven protected from view. Lost my business doing something against canadian law. Sorry lost my business.
Very impressed with adherence to pandemic health guidelines! Food was awesome too! They did an interior renovation while closed and it looks super nice!
Well, where to start. We order 2 apps.,stuffed mush.and potato skins, then I was full but wait there is more. Hubby got the admiral platter,2pc. fish, shrimp, scallops, onion rings and a 10 lb. bag of fresh cut fries lol. I order the chicken parm with spaghetti. I can honestly say that the meat sauce was the best I have ever had from a restaurant, and no water on my pasta, yum yum.Hubby could not finish his platter which very rarely occurs.Kudos also to the great staff. Can't wait to go back and try something else. P.S. Best kept secret in Lanark.

The most unusual dining experience I've ever encountered. When placing my takeout order, I mentioned wanting cranberry sauce and a bun to the server. To my surprise, she added an extra $3 charge for them...
I'd give this place a 3.5 stars if I could. If you're looking for tasty food and a variety, which also provides good service to your table especially on...
I used my fork to dig under the fries and discovered a very small, dry, and stringy piece of turkey. When I asked the waitress about it, she glanced at the plate and casually suggested they might run out of turkey, as if that justified giving me only half a portion. She offered me more fries, which I accepted. I was tempted to send the meal back, but I didn't want to incur any additional charges. I requested that she check with the cook about the turkey. A few minutes later, she returned with a large bowl. I assumed it would contain more turkey and some fries, but instead, it was just a massive portion of plain fries. I took everything home in hopes of salvaging the meal. The fries were decent, but the turkey was stale and nearly inedible. The frozen vegetables seemed to be straight from the freezer—cold and unheated—each bite was like a shock of icy water. In short, I paid $15 for a dinner consisting mainly of fries. The experience in the restaurant was awkward and disappointing. I'm really let down because I've enjoyed decent meals there in the past, so I was hoping for better this time. However, after this experience, I'm not sure I could bring myself to return. The service wasn't unfriendly; they were nice enough to offer extra fries, but I was looking forward to a turkey dinner, not just an abundance of fries.
