What User doesn't like about The Mark Hotel:
New owners who have drastically changed the wine list and now have a very limited choice. They no longer stock Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc &when I complained management could not care less. I tried their sparkling which was also disappointing. The chef tries to please but my husband considered the shank to be too dry. The Premier Hotel us a better alternative. Went to The Mark Restaurant today for lunch and left very happy and full. Georgina (Head Chef) and her team produced a beautiful meal. My steak was cooked to perfection and I didn't even need a steak knife it was that tender. Mt friend had the barramundi and it was also cooked to perfection. The bar staff were also extremely friendly. A great place to meet up with friends and as a Hospitality teacher I would highly recommend this restaurant to my colleagues. Keep up the fantastic work Georgina. I WILL be back!!!!

The food is always good, the only disappointment is that when you ask for bread to be served as an entree, it is really annoying when it comes out with the main.I ordered the share plate and wished to add 2 prawn cutlets and pay extra, oh no can't do this. WHY when prawn cutlets are on the menu, they did not know how to price them, I really find this annoying as how hard is it when the customer is willing to pay for the extras. Should try pleasing the customer instead of losing a customer.
Great ribs and great price on a Tuesday. It gets busy so a booking is recommended. Big portions, great value for money
