What PeterB doesn't like about Stella: A Kitchen:
The food was very good. With that said, the service was horrible. Waitress very unattendtive. Much more interested in talking with other servers and hostess who was swilling a cocktail. She came to check on our table once while chewing food. When paying our bill she told us we should order our food the same time as appetizers so not to confuse the kitchen. My shrimp and grits were good and there was enough. But $14 for a tiny cocktail? In Jamestown? I don’t think so.
We were promptly seated at our reservation time outside on the porch as we requested. We had a nice leisurely dinner. Tarah our server was attentive even though it was very busy. Petite filet was delicious and the lobster nachos were amazing!
Beautiful night with friends. we all agree that we will return. the food was fantastic the drinks delicious! sitting on the veranda outside was a bonus!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner just last night.The restaurant was well staffed by a very helpful crew that went out of their way to specialize one of the dishes for us.Quality of the meal was likewise excellent., actually perfect.Fun place to go via boat, the Lakewood public dock is a easy stroll at the end of the road...
