What My Small doesn't like about Around The Corner Saloon Cafe:
I was interested in trying this restaurant because I enjoy exploring new places, but I came across a concerning review. I'd like to get an update from the company: is it true that your staff allows theft from customers and then responds poorly when customers attempt to address the issue? View all feedback.
Me and two of my friends went here from michigan got denied for having “fake” ids. Horrible service and bouncers. As soon as we called the cops they willingly gave us back our ids, as a “favor”. The entire staff was rude to us and unprofessional.
Nice outdoor seating in the back. Can be a little loud. Kitchen open until 11pm which is later than most in the area. Received lovely service from Alyssa.
Great place. Great food, fun place. Can't wait to go back.
If I could give a 0 star review I would. We were celebrating a friend’a birthday out on the patio, started around 7. We stepped out around 11, when we came back to the door the security told my husband he wasn’t dressed appropriately… while wearing a nice T-shirt, dress shorts, and nice shoes. AFTER we had just been out on their patio spending money for hours! This ignorant “security guard” proceeded to let other men in with normal graphic tees in. To add context the bar was dead… and the DJ was horrible. Save yourself time and go out in the Flats.
I always enjoy a meal from around the corner and the service and atmosphere are great
