Shaketown - Laketown

Stopped by today, nice little family owned place. The burgers are top notch and delicious, made from ground chuck, brisket and short ribs, and it is fresh, not frozen. Fries and rings, very crispy and delicious, the shakes (I had a raspberry) are thick, creamy and huge. Food. 5 stars Shakes 5 stars Service 4 star The young man taking our order, couldn't get it right, my wife ordered a burger with mustard, mayo, lettuce and pickle, with fries. She received a plain burger (nothing on it) and no fries. The fries our companions got were good, but not hot....they replaced them immediately with nice hot ones. A couple of suggestions for the owners: put squeeze bottles of mustard, mayo, ketchup and fry sauce on the tables, stop using the little foil packets. Try heating the buns on the flat top or grill, room temp buns, not good. We will definitely try this place again and look forward to giving them 5 stars.....

Newly opened burger and shake place. Had lunch there it was quite busy when we arrived but our food came out fairly quick despite how busy it was. Took the family and we ordered a variety of items pastrami burger, mushroom and swiss, chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings, and shakes of course. The fries are battered and are delicious. The onion rings were amazing, a definate must if you like rings. The burgers were really good. The burgers are made with a mix of chuck, brisket, and short rib. Heard there beef is never frozen. They were great very juicy and the right amount of crust on the outside. My wife had a chicken sandwich and really liked it. Shakes used real fruit in them. Staff was courteous. Definitely will be back.
