First time here and everything was delicious. We had the **** Mary, Death Valley, High West Smash and Raspberry Lemonade for cocktails. No complaints there. Tuna Tini, Boom boom shrimp, fried pickles for apps (fried pickles I wouldn?t order again) the others were great. Mango Mahi was delicious as well as the Louisiana street corn! View all feedback.
What 2Jamez doesn't like about Walk On's Sports Bistreaux Gonzales:
Manager was very rude right from the start giving us attitude because he brought us 3 of our 4 drinks, then when asked where the 4th drink was his response was “I only have 2 hands.” Which was hilarious to me because I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years and I know it’s not that hard to carry 4 drinks to a table at a time. Nice sports bar with good cajun food. Very loud though. The fried gator tail was good with big meaty chunks of gator. The crawfish sauce with pasta was delicious with plenty of pieces of crawfish. The gumbo was ok, nothing amazing. Hush puppies are sweet and taste like they were made with Jiffy mix. Fried fish, shrimp, and crawfish were all delicious. The beignets are amazing!
My husband and I had a late lunch here for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and I had the Grilled chicken with bacon and avocado sandwich (which was so big i had to eat it with a knife and fork! . Our server, Jennifer, was very attentive and even suggested that we wait a few minutes to order our appetizers since they would then be 1/2 price. We took them (the boneless wings and 1/2 of our sandwiches to go . Awesome food, amazing service!
This was our first time here. We had 3 different appetizers and my husband had a sandwich. The service was friendly and attentive. Everything came out quick and was fresh and tasty. This is good for a quick bite or to enjoy a night out with friends.

The food at Walk-On?s is always good and this time was no exception. It?s always great food and a great atmosphere. It is pretty loud in here so definitely not the place to go for chit chat.
