Westgate Smokehouse Grill - Lake Wales

Was warmly welcomed. We sat in the shielded veranda overlooking the swamp. The food was good. It didn't shake my world, but it wasn't bad either. My pulled pig meal was $16. It is 1 of the 2 restaurants on site

Beautiful small smokehouse located on Westgate Rider Ranch property. Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. We had to wait about 20 minutes on Friday night, but we didn't worry about that. We all enjoyed appetizers of Gator tail and wing while we waited for our meal! My husband and I got the Ribeye that was great and the kids enjoyed all their children's menus. This was our first time here and they were definitely understated... But who is not now!!! Regardless of this, the service was amazing and Heather took care of us! Amazing work team!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

When reading some of the reviews we brought food. But we're late here to check and it was easy to go the Smokehouse Grill and I'm so glad we did. The girls were fascinated with the outdoor terrace seating on the water so they could search for alligators. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Tia our server was enthusiastic and informative. I had the bride who was moist and tasteful. The girls had chicken strips and pommes and the pommes were so good that we ordered more. Waiting was not so long and they went out of the way to see that we had everything we needed. We look forward to the breakfast buffet!
