Jaxson's - LAKE PLACID

Drive through the area and decided to stop for a late lunch. We enjoyed the back terrace atmosphere and beautiful breeze. Our waitress was quick and attentive, our food came within 7-8 minutes after the order. We chose some appetizers. The grouping fingers were three hand-baked fillets and were delicious. The mushrooms were also hand-baked, hot and crispy. The clams were frozen and okay. All appetizers were food size portions and we ended up half with us!

We had a big party that had dinner on Friday night. Our waitress was very attentive and cared for us (also all our orders were correct). The main rib was amazing and highly recommended. Few people have all U can eat fish and they loved it. All enjoyed their meals. Can't wait to come back!!

Had dinner, sat on the back terrace on Lk Henry. Really nice, even in June. Cool place, old school Florida people.

The chicken Philly sandwich was very good, but the house made chips that came with the dish tasted stale like they were fried in old oil. It should be served with fries.

I ordered a rum runner and my husband a Jack and coke. Both were fine. We had gator bites to start-they were WAY TOO tough, very disappointing. I had a burger with mushrooms and onions with sweet potato fries. My husband ordered a chicken Philly (I know, I know-a frequent order-2nd of the day-lol) The burger was PERFECTLY DELICIOUS. The seasoning was really nice. The sweet potato fries were good but a little too thick. Chicken hoagie was good. The chicken had a nice char flavor to it adding another lever of flavor. Jaxson’s is basically a bar with booths. Service was great, swerved was friendly and prompt. The place wasn’t dirty but it was messy.
