What User doesn't like about Pho And Hot Pot:
We have been going to this restaurant for years. Today we went and the vegetable pho broth tasted like plain hot water. Awful waste of $9!!!! I would give it a zero after today but there is no zero option. Updated from previous review on 2018-11-04 View all feedback.
This Vietnamese restaurant is located in a secluded area but offers delicious and affordable food. They have a variety of options including pho and hot pot with customizable toppings. The ambiance was calm and peaceful during my visit.
My son and I had dinner at this restaurant and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and there was a great variety of dishes to choose from.
If you want to feel as happy as a Buddha, try the Pho at this fantastic local restaurant. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and elegant, yet simple. I had a great time sipping on Singha beer, enjoying curry dumplings, and indulging in a delicious bowl of vegetarian pho. I usually opt for beef pho, but this time I tried the vegetarian option and was very pleased with the mix of bean sprouts, vermicelli, mint cilantro, carrots, daikon, tofu, and other fresh veggies. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and the service was quick and unassuming. We had a lovely conversation with the staff and felt warmly welcomed. Note: the restaurant offers two options - pho on one side and hot pot on the other, which we plan to try on our next visit.
Great hidden gem in Lake Park. The food is amazing, very consistent. Absolutely the best pho I’ve had. Service is always on point.
Pros: fresh ingredients! Vegan/vegetarian friendly classy venue/casual atmosphere price customer service Cons: ??? I dined at Pho and Hot Pot for the first time this evening, accompanied by a seasoned guest. Sitting on the Pho side of the restaurant, we had the tofu summer rolls and curry puffs as appetizers. The puffs were utterly fantastic bites of spicy, potato y flavor. Pho served with a plate of fresh herb, bean sprout, and lime garnishes to share. And with the sriracha sauce, chili sauce, and hoisin sauce, the dish was bursting with flavor. If come here again in a heartbeat.
