Lindell's Chocolate Shoppe

I have been on a personal quest to find the best biscuits and gravy (with ham) during my travels around the Upper Peninsula for work, and this place easily ranks in the top 5! It's not just the biscuits and gravy, but everything else I've tried there has been exceptional. The prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant is located in a charming historic building with a welcoming and friendly wait staff.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a cook who was loudly using profanity in front of other customers. The coffee and malts were of poor quality, and the staff was unfriendly, possibly due to having a bad day. I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant while I was in the area. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were great (note that they only accept cash or checks). I loved the rustic atmosphere of the restaurant while dining with my daughter. It's worth mentioning that they offer desserts, but not chocolates despite the historic name.
