Great food, but service and atmosphere could use improvement. It looks to be rather busy with only 2 people serving at a time and plates sitting around for quite some time, so some extra help is needed. All the chairs look to be all ripped, which detracts from how nice the place is even if dated. Low key square in Lake Forest. Good food (especially the burgers, but they also make a short rib taco, which was excellent) for a casual drink / dinner. And the lantern has a great room for children!
Fantastic. Good but relaxed service that is perfect for this place. Good food, fast food delivery and a good selection of beer. 11/10 totally recommended.
Friendly staff!! The philly steak and lobster special is a must try.
LOVE their Margarita Flatbread and martinis!!! My Hubby and I enjoy the basket of popcorn with our cocktails while we wait for dinner, we have our favorite window seats! Trivia Night is soooo much fun!!
Great burger, amazing and big chocolate shake and terrific service. Love The Lantern ... pretty much the same as I remember it from 40 years ago.
