I had a kalbsal and my man had their special local filet of bark meat with carrots. both were very tasty and delicate, but my husband found the potatoes with cheese. was a bit rich. apparently his very popular unique one for this opposite. the servings were very generous, as well as had no appetizers. no place for desserts. service was good. we have sunk in the hotel to see and book the menu. rezeptionist printed out the menu so we take it away and do google translate before they come back to dinner : .
The starter of asparagus on a mousseline with jambon was excellent, washed down with a glass of white Marcillac. There are two things you should not miss when visiting the Aubrac. One of them is the local beef and another is aligot, a cheesy creamed potato dish. Both were combined in my main course, and I have seldom had better beef. An elegantly presented cheese course and a half bottle of Minervois rounded off an excellent meal.
