Unfortunately and despite the friendly service and inserted in one of the best hotels in Portugal, the pizzas are perhaps the worst I've ever had in Portugal. In a country where there are already great pizza chefs and such good pizzas, it's hard for me to believe that they really think they are worth the 13 or 14 € they ask for a pizza. Comida sem sabor, confecção demorada... muito caro para o serviço. Medidas de comida muito pequenas...até para crianças! O serviço está aquém do esperado.
We stayed at Vila Gale for two weeks. After trying there buffet which was poor we thought we would have to drive into town for dinners. Then we found Massa Fina, and what a find that was as we had our dinners there for all but 3 nights of our stay. This little (about 40 seat) restaurant offers a good variety of dishes and the preparation could not be better.. On top of the the hotel chain has its own winery which offers very good wines at a reasonable price.
Great place to eat and delicious food
Maravilhoso! Eu vim aqui no verão de 2021 e foi com a presença de pessoas muito amigáveis, pode ter levado 30 minutos, mas valeu a pena. porque a pizza sabia tão bem que eu gostaria de ir lá mais uma vez, mas, infelizmente, a vida não é assim tão fácil.
We had an amazing experience here, both Alexander and Reuben were so hospitable and their service made eating here that much better. The food (pasta and pizza) was excellent and very filling. Definitely ask for a daiquiri when you are there!
