I always enjoy stopping in for lunch at Masala. Love the coziness of the atmosphere. I can relax and enjoy my meal. My last 2 meals I had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh. Both were wonderful. Today I had the Boti Kebab, it was excellent. It’s great that the owner “Doc“comes out and checks on his his guests. Wanted to give shot out to my server Britt. What Eda B doesn't like about Masala Indian Kitchen:
I LOVE Masala’s food in general. Have had many good experiences, and that’s where the 3 stars are coming from. Why not more? Today they handled having too many orders in a really bad way. I came in 25 mins after ordering takeout, as instructed on the phone. Paid (20% tip, which I regret obviously), and commenced waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Hands down my favorite place I've eaten in Lafayette so far. I got butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious. They were understaffed, but the owner(? cane around to every table to apologize and see how he could help.
Great food, service could do with some more pleasantries bit they alright
Waiter wasn't very friendly. Food was ok, not authentic Indian food. Could have been better. Disappointed.
Prices Are extremely High thats not worth it to pay that much money for low quantity their every items quantity are very low i never gonna come back
The food is amazing. It was a very slow night which I was sad to see but they didn't scrimp om service or quality. Have never had a disappointing meal here.
