Fat Pat's Grill - Lafayette

Very good hamburgers. Extensive variety of really good hot dogs also. About 30 or so beer for design. I also like the French Pommes. Sports bar feels at it. Television is on the walls. Individual television is available at all levels. This location is somewhat newer and more spacious than the Verot School Road location. I prefer this one.

Amazing burgers. I can't believe I'm trying this place for the first time after I heard so many Rave reviews about their burgers. After my visit this weekend, I can say that Fat Pat's life lives up to the hype. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere with fast and courteous service. I ordered the Mile High Burger, who proved to be one of the best burgers in Lafayette. The patty is deliciously spiced, bordering on spicy, in a sweet yeast bunk. I'm definitely back.

Good times. Have been going to the Verot School location since they basically opened. The new location is great. Same great food and beverages. I went right before a Saints game. The patio and restaurant area were pretty much packed.

Advertise and they will come!. Who even knows that Fat Pats opened a 2nd location? There's no mention of it at their other location, there website hasn't been updated in years, there's no direct mail advertising, no print advertising, no billboards, no social media, etc, etc. they have a good product, they just have to let people know. With only 15 patrons here during football games on Sunday means they need to get on it fast.
