I’ve only been to Cannon Mine a few times during the three years I lived in Lafayette, but those visits were memorable. One time, my husband and I found an advertisement for our apartment tucked under the floorboard, which brought back fond memories. On another occasion, I met a friend for coffee the day before she moved away—it's a bittersweet memory since I haven't seen her since. Although my experiences may not di... View all feedback.
What Haley Kuphal doesn't like about Cannon Mine Coffee:
Sometimes you get a great cappuccino, sometimes not good. the resistance between baristas is exceptional and each barista makes its own espresso to milk quotas with the various espresso drinks. it is regrettable, because if the dishes are well drawn, they are very good. View all feedback.
I recommend this place. This place is a nice break from the crowded and pretentious places you meet in Boulder and the other L-Towns. I like boulder, Louisville, Lyons and Longmont, but it's nice to go somewhere where other working class people congregate more like Lafayette. The coffee in this place is good and they have great service. The food offers are just fine and a bit limited in range, but although a pedestrian offer, they sell Nutter Butter cookies, which is a personal favorite that goes excellent with coffee. Never underestimate Nutter Butter people! The building and the rooms in it are pleasant with possibilities to read, speak and play games with friends and family. Speaking of reading and games, they seem both books to read and games interested to play for those.
Delightful local coffee shop with sooo many choices. Three kinds of Chai, smoothies, and treats. Stop in and become a regular.
Great cappuccino and macchiato. The pastries are good as well. Really like the back room to work in.
Great coffee. Nice pastries. Diabetic friendly options. Lots of tables for laptops. Very laid back. Located in the heart of old town. Best coffeehouse in Lafayette. Free Wifi. Open mic night. Beer served as well.
Great place to visit. Plenty of drink options. Inside/outside seating. Chairs and comfy couches.
