Vast choice of beer and fabulous sweet potato fries were the highlights of this local bar/eatery. Service was friendly and location on main street of Lac Megantic was very convenient. View all feedback.
The service was a bit slow, but the menu had a good variety and the drink list was impressive. The food was excellent with generous portions, especially the delicious pasta. I have been there two other times and the servers were bilingual. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and I would definitely go back.
The food was very good and the service also. there was music and it was a funny evening it has a beautiful terrace and is located in the heart of the new inner part of town. it is too foot of many sights.
Le musi cafe is more than a restaurant and bar, it is a monument to the dependency of the people of lac megantic. it has literally risen from ashes of one of the poorer tragödien in quebecs history. the old musi cafe was right next to the tracks when an oil train exploded in the middle of her city. most people killed in the catastrophe were in the old musi cafe, their much loved social center. now it was rebuilt as a symbol of the city's ability. when we asked a place where a good place would be to lunch, she said proudly and without hesitation le musi cafe. it is a bar with a stage and in the sound system for the bands and single singers who entertain at the weekend. the kitchen offers hearty pub food. there are many animals to choose from. in contrast to many bars by ilk is the new musi cafe bright and modern, with windows all around. very pleasant in the middle of the day.
They wanted to visit this new location, and the terrace offered what looked like beautiful seating, although not much of intentional. Unfortunately, the terrace sitting was very unpleasant, all their pillows must be replaced. it was the middle of the week, so no entertainment, and we found a very...skimous menu selection. we settled on fish chips, but were disappointed, the fish was nothing special, and it was served with something like boiler chips instead of fries. so they take the word 'chips' literally in this case. service was stable and good, but then they really dropped the ball when they charged our friend extra for a small paper cup of their home mayo. when we already dropped about $150 to dinner. cheap movement. I lost my vote. we went to the pizza place on the road in the next night, they can her own wein, the pizza great and it is a good offer.
This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of beers, with a focus on Belgium style. They have approximately 25 different beers on tap, as well as a wide selection of bottled beers. The food is delicious and the staff is very welcoming. Despite being destroyed in a train crash in 2013, the restaurant was rebuilt and is now considered to be one of the best in the area.
