I always order Pad Thai when I go to a new Thai place. Theory is if they can get the simple stuff right, I'll explore the more adventurous side of the menu next. This was the single best Pad Thai I've ever had, period dot. Served with a healthy dose of peanuts and plenty of chicken without throwing off the noodle ratio. Balanced, sweet yet sour, piping hot, spice as requested, just perfect. Can't wait to try a curry! View all feedback.
What Rigoberto Rodriguez doesn't like about Thai Orchids:
Been in a coupe of times on Fridays for lunch. The place is well decorated, clean, and relaxingly quiet. Not a fan of loud restaurants. I like the privacy and intimacy of the high back booths. The ginger chicken was delicious with a heat that builds on you but is never overpowering. The flavors were fresh and complex but not heavy or greasy. My companion enjoyed the pineapple fried rice and we both appreciated the co... View all feedback.

The food was really good. Best chicken pad Thai I've had in the area. My husband got the chicken fried rice and the portions were plenty. We also enjoyed the fried spring rolls. The only complaint we had was service. It was packed and there was only 2 people waiting tables. It took forever to get drinks and our food took a while to come out. The appetizer came out with dinner which was disappointing.
We've been here and ordered out here many times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend the Southern Curry Beef. It is amazing. What a great find! Highly recommended.
Wow. WOW!! My family and I are here from out of state and always look for places we don't have at home. This is a great Thai place!!! Portions are HUGE, and even the pickiest eaters in our family loved it!
My wife and I decided to try some Thai food this past Saturday, and we feel like we found a gem with this place. Initially, we were a bit skeptical as this restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside (strip mall). Once we went inside we were really impressed. The décor is very tasteful and nicer than expected. We had arrived exactly when the restaurant opened and were greeted by the chef which was a real treat. He was extremely pleasant. It wasn't long before half the restaurant was full, and the speed of service didn't seem to be impacted at all. Overall, the service was good, the wait staff was friendly, and the food was terrific. I don't try Thai often, however, I do enjoy a variety other Asian inspired fare, and this was absolutely delicious. The only negative about the food was the spice level. I enjoy extremely spicy fare, and this was a little shy of my taste level. The entire experience however was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for take-out, date night, or feeling the need for some Asian spice.*Pictured below is the fish cake appetizer (above) along with the Southern Beef Curry (bottom)
