OK i agree that it seems strange to go to France, then eat Asian food - but believe be the quality ingredients and french passion for food make this simply wonderful. It's a large restaurant with plenty of tables, friendly staff and a nice setting. View all feedback.
What Zacharie Dubois doesn't like about ANONG:
We went here earlier this year and had a pleasant meal, we visited today the restaurant was half full but the service was quick, the starters were good. My wife had chicken satay that was dangerously undercooked, I had a chicken curry that arrived cold....They still wanted the money. BEEN BEFORE NEVER AGAIN. View all feedback.
From the entrance, the smell of moisture is striking! After a quarter of an hour, we don't know. very warm welcome by the boss, very friendly, but on the papillae side it is not terrible. nems and samoussas don't taste, both sauces are also insipid. the sea plate is copied, well presented, good but no more, the caramel port was good. menu at 21€ for gentleman, à la carte for me, à la carte it makes expensive for dishes that have little flavor!
We go there every year on our way to La Tranche (fyi I travel to Asia a lot and my wife is Taiwanese). One of the best asian restaurants in France, food is great, good prices, very kind people. Some tables are Thai style, i.e.... beds to eat sitting the floor cumfortably, very nice experience!
We ate here on a very quit night so very little in the way of atmosphere that night, but went past this evening and it was really buzzing. The food was excellent and the service friendly, not cheap but very nice and good value
My wife and I went there on our anniversary whilst on holiday in the area. The service we received was second to none. A welcoming smile and relaxing atmosphere made our visit all the more enjoyable. Excellent food and a not to shabby wine list...to choose from. One to remember, certainly worth another visit if we are ever in the area again.
