We fancied a lighter evening meal and whilst the Cap Nord is busy at lunch evenings are quiet. We had lovely Galettes and a large birthday celebrating French family and friends arrived. The atmosphere was lovely and service and food could not be faulted. This was a memorable evening for all the right reasons View all feedback.
What Grembo doesn't like about Cap Nord:
A bit disappointed by this restaurant. The welcome and the setting were absolutely great, but the hot chocolate was sugary rather than chocolatey and the crepes had a strange taste and texture which we didn't particularly like. It's a shame because this is a great location. View all feedback.
We called for a gallette, a beer and a cider, an excellent range of various crepes and drinks with friendly efficient service.
Fancied a light evening meal and didn't want to pay the ridiculous local prices for beer. We turned up quite early (7.00pm) and were welcomed with open arms. Rather than sell us a bottle of local (and undoubtedly very nice) local wine, we were recommended the house white at 16 euros for a litre. It was very nice. I had a gallette, and my wife had the carbonara. An EXCELLENT meal, in a friendly establishment, for less that 40 euros. Cant go wrong.
I'm probably being unfair as it was the first week of the season but we went as a family and were disappointed. The restaurant was cold and no atmosphere. We paid € 6 for the smallest hit chocolate and crepes overpriced compared to others in plagne centre.
Awesome very nice guy running the restaurant, very kind and able. One of my sons sat at the counter watching him make the crepes. The guy takes the orders, makes the food, serves it, and clears away. While we were there he had 27 covers at once.
The pancakes are very good. a full menu of salted and sweet cider and coffee at 21.5€ perfect. The welcome is very pleasant: nice boss.
