Short walk from the ocean front and beach.Serving a great breakfast of omelettes, steak and eggs delicate shrimp dishes,and a very popular Club sandwich!Service was friendly and very communicative.Very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.We found this location while being temporarily lost!Our treat---and a repeat!

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary in this quaint restaurant. Our meal was delicious. The staff was cheerful. The entertainment was a nice touch!!

This was one of our favourite restaurants in the past few years, but it has lost some of its appeal due to a smaller menu, fewer choices and not so great food. The staff are wonderful and the kitchen copes pretty well, the ambiance is the best thing about the place with a lovely setting in an old Mexican home.... but the food is not up to par anymore..maybe as they have two restaurants now and the other one (El Rodeo) is more popular....

Calamari and shrimp to start. Tasty appetizers Main , Garlic pasta, dorado and tuna. Fresh and presented beautifully Desert. A warm chocolate lava cake and a dab of ice cream Victor was attentive and charming A nice evening for this group of nine compadres

As we wandered around La Penita we discovered this pretty little restaurant tucked away. It's clean, staff is wonderful and the musicians that showed up to entertain were excellent. I was craving eggs benny and their rendition was perfect for my palate
