What User doesn't like about Restaurante Palacio Marino:
The service was good. The waiter was friendly and helpful despite the fact that neither of us spoke each other's languages very well. This restaurant is about seven blocks up the hill from the Malecón and near One Hotel where I was staying. I have...to give it a 3 because the food is the most important component in rating a restaurant, in my view. My fish came to the table totally uncooked in the middle. I suspect th... Fine seafood restaurant with good service. fish and garnel cooked as ordered .. the prices are medium. a trip worth when in town
Perfectly cooked fresh cuisine and large portions served by an attentive staff. I was pleasantly surprised with my huge filet mignon plate that came with two pieces of fresh perfectly cooked meat. I was also very happy with the bacon wrapped shrimp dish that came...with 7 large shrimp and a flavorful sauce over the top. It is not the cheapest restaurant in La Paz but if you are ok with a $700 bill the food quality and service is good.
We were looking for a place to watch football on a Sunday, and Palacio Marino was close to our hotel, and had Sports Bar on the outside. It was true, it had a tv, and they were happy to change the channel to the football...game, but it is not your average sports bar! Palacio Marino is an excellent restaurant, beautifully appointed, with amazing food. I had the Tuna Carpaccio, and my husband had the chicken cordon blu. The wine was excellent, the service professional. We were pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend it!
My husband and I loved our dinner at Restaurante Palacio Marino Valentine's Day. My husband had the pan fried red snapper and I had the combo enchilada and chil rellano dish. Both were very good. The service was very good as well. I like that...this is an upscale restaurant without overpriced dishes. We have recommended this restaurant to our friends.
