We had a fantastic lunch at this French restaurant! Two families with a total of 4 kids enjoyed the meal. Although there is no official kids menu, the fries and steak were a hit with the little ones, and even the Croq Monsieur (grilled cheese with ham) was a good option for them. The adults loved the amazing Mussels, especially with blue cheese. The atmosphere was lovely and the location on the 3rd floor was charming (accessible by elevator or stairs). The wine selection was excellent and reasonably priced. I had the mussels with a side salad, which was delicious with a variety of lettuce, radishes, onion, carrots, beets and a tasty vinaigrette. Overall, a great spot that is definitely worth a visit. Casual French dining at its finest!

Surprised by the review 1 star of Mr ... I came to taste with my boyfriend the three dishes he criticized so much, because I 'm curious. This restaurant is known for its excellent french onion soup and snails, among others. Friends who have already come, recommended the steak and the beef filet. Angus beef can not be a bad meat ! It was the first time for us, we usually went in other restaurants in SD or La Jolla, and wanted to try another place. Some friends explained that this place is atypical because very friendly. Veronica and Patrice welcome you as friends. There is not a lot of staff, and it 's not an impersonal place. Everyone is important. And it 's true ! About the meal: The french onion soup was excellent, no meat broth, so perfect for vegetarians, and very hot, otherwise the cheese does not melt, and cold soup is not good Sir... The snails was wonderful, not too salty, and the sauce ... yummy ! The steak was not served with sauce, just grilled. So I guess that Mr... asked for it. To understand his comments, I did the same thing, and surprise! Excellent pepper sauce. I asked Veronica, the owner 's wife and waitress, about how the pepper sauce was made. It is obviously homemade. A1 sauce ? It 's a joke Sir ? I hope you complained about this pitiful meal you had. But I don 't think so, because if you did, now that I know the owners, I know they would have done something for you. It 's easier to write a very bad review and to be offensive, than to complain when you are at the restaurant. Some people do that ! And I know that owners can 't respond ! Whatever, everything was excellent. And we will come back with great pleasure ! Thanks to the Chef and owner, and his wife, for this warm welcome and this good food !

It is not even close to French food Lescargot sauce was completely wrong no taste) Onion soup the worst I ever had so hot you can not eat no taste) Entercote bad meat asked for poivre sause I got A1 with pepper . I hope they get somebody to the kitchen to cook not to put thing together I will never go back . Wasted $140 for a terrible dinner Yuk

Restaurant was totally empty. We had to return the salad because the lettuce was spoiled. Service as expected.
