We typically enjoy dining at this restaurant, but our experience yesterday was disappointing. We ordered mussels and discovered that 7 to 8 of them were not fresh as they did not open. Additionally, the frog legs lacked flavor. View all feedback.

Never had their mahi tacos before but my goodness were they good! The pineapple puts such a nice spin on them. My friends fell in love with the cheese curds, of course (who doesn't?! The server was such a delight too. She was very attentive and friendly. Good food, good service, can’t get much better than that!
Top notch food quality well above almost any other tavern in town. Super-convenient location in the Downtown of La-X. One of the few places that has outdoor seating including a heated patio....very cool! Their Fish or the Dublin Trio highly recommended (also they have the legendary Trempealeau Hotel Walnut Burger! . Tell them Bob sent you! :D
Amazing food! Great wait staff. Very friendly, I highly recommend the Ruben Rolls!!
