Big Al's Pizza - La Crosse

The pizza was fine, I think I'd try it again before deciding if it's worth going again. Boneless chicken i wouldn't order again, i did prefer the angry garlic parm? Over the Buffalo.

Pulling into town in the late afternoon after a long days drive I needed a place to get a quick supper to go for two. I called Big Al's and ordered up a Big Al's Special deep dish 12 pie to go. A very pleasant female on the phone told me 20 minutes and use the loading area out front for curbside pickup. I drove over, parked in the zone, and entered. I wanted a cold beer. She asked if I had the take out and I said yes. Turns out she was the bartender. She found out I was at a nearby hotel and she put together plates/plastic ware/napkins/cheese pepper flake packets in a separate bag! She even gave me directions to a nearby convenience store so I could buy some beer. I should have tipped her twice what I did! I owe her one! This is really good pizza pie. It has great crust, lot's of tomato sauce and cheese, and plenty of toppings. All cooked nicely with a slight crust char and with the cheese browned just right here and there. Absolutely delicious! Do yourself a favor and get one of these next time you are in La Crosse WI.

Best gluten-free pizza ever. You will swear you are eating the real deal. I grew up in Connecticut so I’m pretty picky about my pizza. Never an issue with cross-contamination.

Went there for their GF pizza option. GF pizza only available as 12 . Staff was nice. Dietary restrictions: GF pizza available.
