The food lacked flavor and seemed to be reheated, with tough and dry meat and what seemed to be powdered spices. As a curry enthusiast since 1970, I can confidently say this was the worst curry I have ever had. We decided to try this restaurant based on reviews, but now wish we hadn't. The waiting staff, however, were excellent.

The food at this restaurant was not up to par. I made the mistake of not reading online reviews beforehand, which I won't do again. We ordered onion bhaji, chicken pakora, two main dishes, pillau rice, and two naans. The starters were good, but the madras curry we ordered was a disappointment. It was more like masala sauce and not authentic madras curry. I am of Indian descent and eat this curry regularly, but this was the worst I have ever had. When I complained and asked for a substitute, the English manager was not accommodating and insisted that he sells these all the time without discussing the quality. They did offer me a complimentary pilau rice, but when I ordered a chicken jalfrezi, I found the chicken to be undercooked. I felt unwell and decided to leave after paying. The mango lassi was not even yellow and tasted more like saffron. The naan had a sour milk taste. I ended up feeling ill all night with a stomach ache, which really ruined my holiday.

Fantastic place with a brilliant sea view! Very nice curry and fast service, would return!!!

We had the set menu along with the chefs special and a butter chicken. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were lovely and friendly. Definitely recommend

Eaten here 3 times in the last 2 weeks, been using this restaurant for 5 years now. Food absolutely spot on. Hubby extremely pleased with his tandoori King prawn jalfrezi vindaloo hot, not on the menu but no problem for them to make and as good as any he gets back home! Kindly called a taxi for us when we were ready to go.
