Xiān Dòu Tīng Shòu Sī よし Nǎi

If you want an amazing sushi experience, I recommend visiting Yoshino Pontocho and sitting on the kitchen table. We were pampered with so many things, we had different types of Sake from different regions in Japan. We tried various bosses choice Sashimi, different roles, some appetizers and the service was amazing. (And the snake came.... We have paid a fraction of what such a meal costs in Tokyo if you want the same quality. Thank you for having us. Thank you for a great night and probably the best sushi I had in Kyoto.

Excellent sushi restaurant for Kyoto. It's great that it doesn't smoke either. You can find it on the second floor of the building from the road (small sign). It also has an English menu to help with the order. Large design beer and so well went here two nights in a row!

The restaurant is located on the second floor of the building, so you need to look a little. There is an elevator when you have spent a long day walking. The place is very small and very cozy. You have an English menu and the staff speaks enough English. The sushi are just so amazing! The cook informs you if there is no need to add soy sauce, you just need to trust him and enjoy the taste. The sushi set of 16 is ¥5000.

What can I say, it was so delicious that I eat everything before I could take a photo so you’ll have to do with my empty plates. But in all seriousness, hard place to find; second floor in a back alley. But all worth it, simple, clean, friendly and best sushi you can ask for at that price. Just go there!

Amaaazing place.. good vibes, especially on the bar. We had a wonderful time and the prices are very affordable. The taste is...Yummyy!
