From the very first appetizer, every dish here stands out. The flavors are on a whole different level — you can really feel the shef’s skill and dedication in every plate. Above all, Japanese food that pairs perfectly with wine. The white rice kamameshi, in particular, is truly impressive: soft, slightly sweet, and with an incredible texture that makes each bite unforgettable. This is one spot in Kyoto you just can’t miss! Awesome spot young chef trained at the legendary Kyoaji in Tokyo. No idea what the people giving 1 star reviews are talking about .. for one I am VERY glad that the chef does not let smelly people into the restaurant. My friend was asked to leave this restaurant on November 12, 2024 by the chef after another customer complained about the smell coming from my friend's daughter. Although my friend insisted on paying, the chef refused to accept any money and instead told them to leave immediately. How could something like this happen? I can’t help but wonder how the chef could sleep at night after committing such an act—behavior so unlike the Japanese spirit.
