Mexican Dining Avocado - Kyoto

We had lunch here and the staff was very friendly and helpful and checked what nutritional requirements we had. Food was good and cheap compared to other foods in Kyoto.

UPDATE: The food was so salty and the margaritas were terrible...we left and went to yak and yetti (go there! My friend and I are vegan, celiac, and cannot eat soy and various nuts. We handed the waiter the allergy card and he immediately brought me the vegetarian menu. I asked him to please bring the allergy card to the chef. After struggling with him for a while trying to figure out why he wouldn’t serve us just beans and veggies, we made him bring the chef out. She came out and was so helpful, customized a meal that we could eat of baked veggies, guac, beans and olive oil. The good rating is not because of their menu but how accommodating they were once we talked to the right person.

Beautifully located by Babbling Stream so you can watch the ducks. Has some good set times The meal of the day was quite good, a chocolate sauce chicken meal can wait a queue Has blankets to sit outside when it is just cold cash.

The service was great along with the food. I had the chicken fajitas with a diablo drink. The drink was really good and sweet and the food was amazing allowing me to make my own fajitas with the tortillas. Would definitely go again if I go back to Kyoto.

Awesome restaurant! A must place to go, probably the only place in Japan with good Mexican food. (Just remember you're in Japan, they don't do Mexican very well so I was pleasantly surprised at this place)
