Wonderful lakeshore restaurant with prices that are slightly higher than at ordinary provincial restaurants, but it's a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the views over the lake at sunset. He had the hors d'oevre platter with delicacies such as spring rolls, prawn satay and Pork filet in banana leaves, plus some duck larb and yum neua, authentically spicy and delicious View all feedback.
What Steve L doesn't like about Rabiang Phatchani:
Expensive restaurant overlooking the lake. Not to impressed with the food. Stupidly made the mistake of going a second time. The food was terrible and service was not to good. I don't think I will return View all feedback.
Popular old restaurant on Nong Prajak, nice views from the terrace upstairs, very enjoyable. We found food to be rather average, service was just ok, and were disappointed when told that the kitchen closes at 8.30pm. One dish we ordered was not available (we were told 10 minutes after ordering), we had to rush as the kitchen was closing within minutes.
Truly delicious food at a reasonable price in pleasant surroundings. It sits on the side of the lake giving a tranquil ambience. The interior is pleasant enough and staff are helpful and friendly. But you come here for the food and it is one of the tastiest eateries in Udon.

Good place to stay for our volunteers when having a dinner at weekend while staying at Udon Thani
Visit restaurant in April 2013 with family and good friends, we had walked passed the place many times, but with an invite from our good friends øj and Alex, this was a nice and very welcome surprise the food was thai and western quite nice for my wife, two kids and I. And another surprise two guys plays western known classic melodies. My friend Alex has visited this plads quite often, the two guys played a guitare and a violin rare. As Udan Thani is our second home, this will not be our last visit.
