A cute little bar off flinders lane. A typical melbourne style laneway bar. Being spanish tried the Sangria which was really good.
Cosy little bar on hosier lane, overlooking the famous melbourne street art. Has quite an extensive tapas menu, and reasonably priced. Between 3 of us we shared 4 5 dishes, and had some left over (reluctantly). The eggs in the traditional Spanish tortilla were slightly runny for my taste, and it was a little salty, but we eat it up nonetheless! The garfish on crispy chicken skin was delicious the skin acting as a 'cracker ' and neither ingredient being overwhelming. The stand out for me was the chicken liver parfait. It was some of the best that I 've tasted deliciously sweet and creamy. Thankfully we had extra bread for the table so I could gobble up each morsel.
Loved Bar Tini. Such a cute little bar with great character, extensive wine list and delicious food. Between two we shared the anchovy on sesame crackers, the dried tuna on compressed watermelon, the beef croquettes, the stracciatella with shaved beets and the Calabrian sausage with honey. The croquettes and the anchovy on sesame cracker were my personal favourites but everything was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
Really like the vibes! The drinks were nice and you can get cheap sangria. The food was delicious and the service was juste amazing! Can’t remember last time I a good service like this. Made the business look much fun et with a good energy! <br/
Absolutely Fabulous food. I have to say that this will be the most authentic Spanish food that you will find in Melbourne. The flavours that you could find in Spain. I'm Spanish and I'm a chef. Great olives, fantastic twist on the Gilda, croquetas of ropa vieja perfect, sobrasada great ... Highlights the viejo maestro cheese, the molletes and the ventresca...The charcuterie board was nice and the quail too. My least favourite was the burrata, the salmorejo was kind of lost on the plate... but that is the only criticism . Very recommended the cheeses . Really well done for a place just opened.
