Food was amazing something a bit different for the city. The tartar and oysters certainly the highlights. Great wine list that’s not outrageously priced. Service good and hospitable particularly from the maître d, a couple other need a touch more attention to detail with timing clearing filling water double checking tables but that’s quite critical by no means bad. Great place will be back View all feedback.
I love the bar area! The menu is simple but effective and the flavours are all really clean. The atmosphere is on point cosy, sophisticated and quiet. It's the perfect place to have a drink when you actually want to have a conversation. The live jazz certainly helps to cement it as a great place to chill and have some excellent cocktails.
Very classy venue perfect for a romantic date : great music choice! small sharing plates are amazing as well as deserts. My main dish of steam fish is blend and the only let down otherwise I’d given it a 5-star!
The atmosphere is so 1920s Paris, it’s really gorgeous too. Loved the duck liver parfait. We had the Côte de Boeuf as our main and shared 3 entrees being the parfait, crab crumpet and steak tartare.
Booked dinner at this place for a Friday dinner. <br/ Ambience : 5/5. Love the interior decor. Dimmed lights and subtle jazz music instantly creates an intimate mood. <br/ Food : 4/5. We went with the chef’s recommendation and opted for the pescatarian diet. Presentation was pleasant. Food was fresh and full of flavor although I felt the sauce has overpowered the flounder. The spanner crab crumpet and mussels were my favorites. <br/ Service : 4/5. Got a table in the middle but requested to be seated at a cosy corner of the restaurant. It was very nice of the waiter to allow us to do that.<br/ Highly recommended : The oysters, mussels and spammer crab crumpet. <br/ <br/ Will definitely come back for the great ambience and fresh seafood.
Fantastic French Flair restaurant in the heart of the city. Started our night with a cocktail at the bar before being seated at our table. The staff were very attentive and really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered the chefs menu and each dish was so tasty and beautifully presented from entree right through to dessert. A cozy , elegant place to eat topped off with a live band playing jazzy French music that makes you almost feel you could be in Paris.
