We found this place and feeling hungry decided to give it a go. The food tasted awful and the place was riddled with blow flys. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Went for a family meal last night and have to say terrible. Started out by being told we must be there right on 7 and order straight away as they were booked out and it was going to be a super long wait if we didn't ok fair no worries happy t to do that if it was justified,Well let me tell you if 50% empty tables is what they call busy then they have some major issues with the kitchen and service staff. we ordered a variety of dishes from the menu so it was a broad look at what they offer beef ribs,lamb ribs,burger,steak ,chicken and pasta . We started with the garlic pizza bread one had no cheese/ or topping just bread didn't appear to even be a full serve and we paid for 2 serves. All the meals were tasteless. I had the half perri perri chicken it was literally no flavour not even a hint of chilli and in a pool of oil and the thigh portion was still pink/raw. 5 meals had chips that were not cooked bordered on raw, the sweet potato fries the best thing on the table. The carbonarra just tastes like cream the pulled pork burger was tasteless with no sauce to carry the meat, the lamb ribs were on an entree size plate and for the price a rip off. For a meal that cost $75 for just my husband and myself i would expect so much more.This used to be a family favourite but we won't be back.

Haven't been for a couple of years, used to live close and the meals were always good. The new refurbishment is well done, funky and rustic. The views can't be beaten, and again the food was fantastic! Great size, good flavor and I have to say the customer service was outstanding. Large menu selection which means there's something for everyone.A good place to stop for lunch or dinner, highly recommend.

A group of us went for a weekend drive, ending here with lunch. As others have noted, the view is quite impressive and can be enjoyed both from the outdoor eating area and, on those colder days, inside the dining room. The drive way comes up quite quickly, so it is a good idea to have a GPS guiding you if you have not been before. The menu is extensive - burgers, pizzas, fish & chips salads etc etc, and can be accessed online. I enjoyed the pan seared salmon and my husband the Archibald Burger. The salmon was delicious and I didn't hear any complaints about the burger either. The other dishes ordered by our friends also looked great. It is certainly not cheap, however we enjoyed our meals. Service was quick and efficient. Definitely a great place to lunch after a lovely morning drive
